Vivo has officially introduced the X Fold Plus, the successor to its inaugural foldable phone. This updated model boasts several enhancements, including a larger battery and an upgraded processor. Below is a brief overview of the key features offered by the device.

The Vivo X Fold Plus is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and showcases an 8.03-inch 120Hz HDR10+ LTPO AMOLED inner display, complemented by a 6.53-inch 120Hz AMOLED outer screen. Notably, both displays feature ultrasonic fingerprint scanners for secure authentication.

Operating on Origin OS Ocean, based on Android 12 out of the box, the phone’s rear hosts a quad-camera setup. This setup comprises a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto lens for portrait shots, and an 8MP periscope lens offering 5x optical zoom. Additionally, the front of the device incorporates a 16MP selfie camera. Given its foldable design, the rear camera can also serve as a front-facing camera. The phone supports video recording up to 8K resolution.

The Vivo X Fold Plus is configured with 12GB of RAM and offers storage options of up to 512GB. Powering the device is a 4,730mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone is available in three colors – Clear Mountain Blue, Sycamore Ash, and Huaxia Red.

Currently open for pre-orders in China, the X Fold Plus is slated for sale starting September 29. The base variant, featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs 1,13,549), while the 12GB/512GB version can be purchased for CNY 10,999 (approximately Rs 1,24,905).
